I've learned how to set boundaries, filter emotional input and gain a better understanding and control over my emotions. It's not always easy, but it's worth it.

Because I believe Empaths and Highly Sensitive People are expert feelers and powerful emotional influencers. We've just never been taught how to process our emotions, and soothe our nervous system through self-care.

Embodied Calm is a 6-week container for sensitive souls who are ready to take the emotional journey from stressed, anxious and overwhelmed to feeling calm, confident, and connected.

I have created this space to provide you with the tools and support you need to take back your power and thrive as a Highly Sensitive Person.

I bring my expertise in mind-body therapies to give you a customized experience that will help you soothe your nervous system and feel more in control of your emotions. With the use of massage and embodiment techniques, you will gain an increased awareness of your body to connect with yourself in a deeper, more meaningful way.

Connect with your Body

Sensitive people feel deeply and navigate the world through their emotions, which can lead to chronic stress, anxiety, and feelings of disconnection.

Overthinking to rationalize our experiences can make things worse. This is because we can't think our way out of emotions. To truly take control of our emotional well-being, we first need to learn how to reconnect with our bodies and understand the language through which it communicates.

Therapeutic massage provides a powerful tool for us to reconnect with our bodies and become more aware of our internal landscape.

Combined with embodiment practices, we can calm our nervous system, release tension, and explore our felt sense in order to understand and befriend our emotions. This can help us feel more grounded, centered, and in control of our experience.

Also, massage can be a more gentle and non-invasive form of therapy, as it is a hands-on approach that is done in a safe and nurturing environment, it can be helpful for people who may have difficulties with traditional talk therapy as their only source of healing.

As we learn to communicate with our body, we can then work on building resilience. We can learn to tolerate strong emotions without getting overwhelmed, increase our capacity to handle stress and anxiety, and avoid feelings of disconnection.

Embodied Calm is a gentle yet effective way to get you out of your head and bring you back into your body to develop a greater sense of self-awareness, self-compassion, and resilience.

Week 1: Initial Consultation

Before we get started on the hands-on portion of the experience, we’ll schedule a quick online introduction session. This will give us a chance to get to know each other, talk about where you're at on your embodiment journey, and identify any challenges you may be facing.

Plus, we'll set some expectations for the next few weeks so you know exactly what to look forward to. And don't worry, it's not a formal interview, just a casual chat so we can create a personalized plan for you.

I'll also have you set an intention for the course to make sure we're clear about what you'd like to get out of the next 6 weeks together.

All this, so that we can begin to connect with each other and build a therapeutic relationship that feels safe, trusting, and nurturing.

Week 2: Body Mapping

In this session, we'll be diving into body awareness. We'll be using massage, gentle touch, embodiment techniques, and mindfulness meditation exercises to help you tune into your body and its sensations. We'll focus on strengthening the connection you feel to your body.

This is so that you begin to notice what your body feels like to you and get more of a present-moment perspective of how it feels to live in your body.

Week 3: Sensory Exploration

In this session, we'll continue to deepen our exploration of the body.

By exploring different types of massage techniques, temperature changes, and applied pressure, you'll learn to observe and identify the different sensations without judgment or trying to change them.

So that you become more familiar with the various sensations that come up in your body, and learn to distinguish them and what they mean to you. It's all part of becoming more aware of your body and learning to listen to it.

Week 4: Exploring Emotions

During this session, we’ll practice sitting with emotions and understanding what it is they communicate, rather than trying to suppress or ignore them.

We’ll use a combination of therapeutic massage techniques and guided visualization to help you connect with any emotions that may be stored in your body.

We'll be working together to acknowledge any emotion that may come up, as you’re guided through the process of sitting with your feelings so that you can experience what it feels like to allow emotions and to show yourself that you can slowly build capacity and tolerance for more uncomfortable emotions without feeling overwhelmed.

Week 5: Self-Soothing & Grounding

We'll be building on everything we've learned so far and focusing on using massage and mindfulness techniques to help you feel more safe and grounded in your body.

I’ll provide affirmations and a grounding meditation to help you stay present in your body.

You’ll continue to practice recognizing what that feels like to drop back into your body, making it a habit to feel safe in your body so you can soothe yourself more quickly whenever you feel you need it, without feeling you’re losing control.

Week 6: Integration Session

This final session will be all about taking a step back and reflecting on your journey.

We'll be looking at how far you've come since we started, and acknowledging the progress you've made.

We'll also be talking about areas where you may still have room for growth. It's important to remember that embodiment is a lifelong journey, and this final session is about equipping you with the tools and resources you need to continue on your journey.

I'll be providing you with self-care practices and other resources to help you stay connected to your body, so you can continue to feel grounded, calm, and centered.
